As part of Club Monaco’s Makers & Muses series, Club Monaco is excited to announce its latest partnership with Italian sunglass maker, Dom Vetro. This season, Aaron Levine, head of Club Monaco’s men’s design, found inspiration in Italian eyewear company: Dom Vetro, and its creator, Ashley Bezamat.
Dom Vetro preserves the centuries-old craft of making eyewear with factories in the Alpine town of Cadore, where each frame is handmade by experienced Maestri. All the sunglasses are derived from cotton and finished with crystal polarized lenses with anti-reflective coating. Together, Levine and Bezamat collaborated on an exclusive pair of sunglasses for Club Monaco – the Arpetto. Inspired by a shared vision of driving on the open road in a ’68 Charger after a long weekend in a worn linen shirt, the only missing piece was the perfect sunglasses. The Arpetto includes a bold, black frame with thick temples, a square front and dark black lenses. It is also available in 2 additional color-ways.
