We wanted to do a follow up on our brothers at Greenwich Vintage Co. Quite a bit has happened since our previous collaboration ( Anchor Division x GVC ). These guys have been putting out some beautiful products and seem to be all over the map nowadays. VAULT covered a short on our buddy and master cobbler Tamas “Zen” Pomazi. Bolster recently shot a short series called “Color Your Sole” which shows some of Zen’s passions and work. If you’re not familiar with GVC, here’s a history write-up on these guys:
Greenwich Vintage’s primary focus is the re-crafting and re-purposing of wingtips, boots and chukkas with its signature in-house colored soles. In addition, the Company resoles and restores customers’ footwear with its signature colored soles, preserving and improving on the past for future generations. Greenwich Vintage takes pride in being keepers of the craft, in that all of our in-house footwear is designed and handcrafted by our master cobbler at our workshop in Waconia, Minnesota. Finally, Greenwich Vintage is proud of the fact that all of our products, from footwear with colored soles, clothing, as well as accessories, are Made in America.
Greenwich Vintage Co. (“Greenwich Vintage” or the “Company”) was founded in 2011 by Tamas “Zen” Pomazi and Max Miller. Mr. Pomazi is Greenwich Vintage’s master cobbler and the creator of the Company’s signature colored soles. Mr. Miller works as Greenwich Vintage’s CEO/CFO/COO, establishing the Company’s financial and accounting infrastructure, developing Greenwich Vintage’s sales and marketing presence, as well as assisting customers with their questions and inquiries.
We hope to continue working with GVC to put out Whiskey Grade x Greenwich Vintage Co. footwear.
