Levi’s® Made and Crafted™ has just launched its fall/winter 2014 lookbook, which was created in partnership with Wilder Quarterly. Each season, Levi’s® Made and Crafted™ collaborates with an American art and culture publication to create seasonal materials that weave together the collaborators’ editorial and artistic work, and this season they are excited to have worked with Wilder.
The fall/winter 2014 Levi’s® Made and Crafted™ collection drew inspiration from the tension visible in the Pacific Northwest: city vs. mountains, indoors vs. outdoors, the old and the new. These sources of inspiration fueled the Levi’s® Made and Crafted™ team to create a collection that incorporates these elements. The Wilder Quarterly team, Celestine Maddy and Abbye Churchill, worked with a range of contributors on this project to explore the details of the garments and the natural surroundings of the Pacific Northwest.
The lookbook and Levi’s® Made and Crafted™ Tumblr are broken down into three chapters: Silver Linings, Fire on the Mountain, and Hands On. As the season passes, the Tumblr will be gradually updated with content that tells the story of the fall/winter 2014 collection.
