Showing for the first time at New York’s Fashion Week, bourgeoning menswear brand Ovadia & Sons presents its 2014 spring/summer collection to much acclaim. Staying true to its high-low aesthetic that pairs tailored menswear with everyday basics, the twin-backed New York-based label inadvertently chose to split its forthcoming range into two distinct groups. The first takes on a very modern, sleek and yet wearable form with mixes of blacks, whites and pops of green. The second centers around an indigo or navy blue color palette with garbs that are properly suited for just about any outing from a day on the yacht to an elegant red carpet affair. With the two distinct groupings, Ovadia & Sons hopes it’ll urge consumers to pair clothing from each to form a unique fashion statement specific to its wearer’s current mood.
