As you get older, you realise that it’s worth spending that little bit more on certain items, a good pair of jeans, a decent pair of shoes and a good suit for a start. Alongside these staples, no man should scrimp when it comes to keeping his keys, card, cash or canine protected, and this is wear Portland based leather workshop Tanner Goods come in. These relative newcomers are already firm favourites here at End, using premium leathers to produce some of the finest wallets, belts and lanyards you’re likely to find anywhere. The styling is classically understated and as each piece is handmade, you can be sure it will last a long, long time. The Autumn/Winter offerings from Tanner Goods are very much in keeping with their previous efforts, with classic styles such as the Utility Bifold, Cardholder and Spectacle Case returning alongside new designs such as the brilliantly innovative Coin Pouch and the Double Wristband. Every piece, new and old is made from using the very best materials available – such as vegetable dyed Horween leather – while the fixtures are made from ultra-sturdy brass, nickel or stainless steel. The final touch sees each item hand stamped before it leaves the workshop, demonstrating that it has passed TG’s stringent quality control.
